The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is looking for doctors with relevant Australian hospital experience to join their team. While candidates are required to participate in a rotating roster over a range of shifts, we are able to offer a range of employment modes and contract lengths to preferred candidates, in order to suit your lifestyle or training requirements.

In our Emergency Department, the Medical Officer will be responsible for the initial assessment and management of patients attending the Emergency Department. Our Emergency Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and comprises of 16 cubicles including 2 resus bays. Our Medical Officers are required to participate in a 24 hour/7 days a week rotating roster and enjoy the support of rostered Consultants and Interns between 07:30-22:30. We staff a Medical Registrar 24/7 and have on call support from a range of Specialists, including Physicians, Paediatricians, O&G Consultants, Surgeons and Anaesthetists.

Applicants with AHPRA approved General Registration and Australian hospital experience need only apply. Registrars are required to hold ACEM trainee status.
