Gippsland East LLEN launches 21C data bank

Posted: 11th Jul

A new digital media initiative has been launched to keep local government, education and community support services linked into regional data and its relationships to broader research.

Since its establishment in 2002, the Gippsland East Local Learning & Employment Network (LLEN) has worked to support young people in the East Gippsland and Wellington Shires to aspire to and achieve the very best education, training and employment outcomes possible.

An important part of the LLEN’s work is its role as a regional information hub. The LLEN undertakes the work of data collection, analysis and exchange to support local strategic planning, identify opportunities, and promote regional initiatives that address the issues which young people face in gaining a foothold in the workforce. This data bank can be used by the local stakeholders as a benchmark to both challenge and measure change for young people.

News is published on Gippsland East LLEN’s web site and a free service on Twitter keeps followers updated as new data is published.
