West Gippsland Healthcare Group are seeking a suitably qualified Social Worker to join the team in fixed term, part-time capacity, until late October 2021.
Possibility for extension of the contract is to be reviewed at the end of the fixed term period.

The successful applicant will provide services for the inpatients at the West Gippsland Hospital (Warragul).
The primary focus of the position will be to follow a multidisciplinary team approach to the psychosocial assessment, care needs, referrals and implementation of the discharge plan for the patients in the acute inpatient setting.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Social Work and be eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers. This role will suit newly graduated Social Workers, or those with limited post-graduate experience.
Regular supervision will be provided, in addition to day-to-day guidance from our supportive team.
