We have part time opportunities for enthusiastic Enrolled Nurses with a passion for Aged Care to join our innovative and committed team at our aged care facility in Trafalgar. The team works together in a friendly work environment that is resident focused and community minded. We offer a friendly, team focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in house salary packaging and onsite car parking. We have a learning culture that encourages ongoing education and offer generous study leave, support and assistance from our Educators.
We have a number of part time positions available - exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicants. Candidates seeking Casual employment may also apply.
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Current registration as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated sound level of nursing skills and works within safe practice principles.
- Flexibility with rostering and the ability to work all shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment.
The ideal applicant will be someone who:
- Demonstrates a genuine interest in residential aged care nursing, with empathy and respect for older people.
- Demonstrates effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Has a mature working attitude and good problem solving skills.
About our organisation
The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 47,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond. The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne. These positions are based at Andrews House Aged Care Facility in Trafalgar.

All employees must hold current entitlement to work within Australia. A six month probationary period applies to all new appointments.
