This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified social worker, to work alongside dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an effective child centred service to children in need of support and protection. You’re able to call upon extensive, recent experience of working with children, young people and families, and be easily identified as a model of excellent, reflective social work practice. Responsibilities All aspects of case management including the following:
  • Intake and assessment, rehabilitation and devising care plans.
  • Capable of working in a high paced environment whilst holding specific case loads;
  • Passionate about improving the lives of Children and young people ;
  • Court appearances; Social Worker Qualification ;
  • CCW certificate and able to obtain a satisfactory enhanced DBS certificate;
  • Decisions about allocating scarce resources are made;
  • Equal opportunity and respect for diversity and difference is promoted;
  • Social inclusion of isolated and vulnerable people is promoted;
  • Abuse of adults at risk and children is investigated;
  • Collaboration and multi-disciplinary working with other agencies is strengthened;
  • Accountability for their actions through effective, accurate recording of decisions.
  • Experienced social worker being able to undertake statutory duties, child in need planning, child protection planning and child looked after planning and knowledge of adoption planning.
