Our client is a not for profit community organisation based in Warragul, who pride themselves in providing a range of services to senior members within the local community such as residential care, independent living along with home care and NDIS. The organisations key focus is to provide a warm, welcoming, and inviting environment for their residents, their family and friends.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic receptionist who has a passion for customer service and helping others. The successful candidate will be a skilled multitasker who can work autonomously and efficiently without direct instruction or supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the reception area and entry foyer is always neat, tidy and presentable
  • Greet residents, clients, families, visitors, and staff upon entry and assist where possible
  • Management of incoming calls
  • The ability to provide administrative support to residents in order to enhance their chosen lifestyle
  • To provide administrative support to staff including senior management and Heads of Department
  • Receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Daily management of filing systems
  • Handling and management of petty cash for residents and staff
  • Stationary orders
  • Database management
  • Management and disbursement of advertising materials
  • Event organisation
  • Management of resident's appointments
Successful applicants will have:
  • Preferably minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • A high level of motivation and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
  • A friendly and outgoing personality
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Well-developed personal communication skills
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer literacy
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Police check
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination
