About the Position

An excellent opportunity exists for experienced Cook to join our new team at our residential aged care home. Royal Freemasons Sale is a new, state of the art, 144 bed Aged Care Nursing home.

Through a multi-disciplinary approach, your responsibilities will include providing the highest levels of service in food preparation, hygiene, kitchen services and hospitality to our residents. Other key tasks related to this role are customer service, food handling, hygiene, and OH&S. 

About You

The successful candidate requires a multi-skilled can do approach, who likes variety in their day to day work environment. You will be professionally presented, highly organised and self-motivated, someone who can manage their time, be flexible with their workloads and customer focused. You will have strong written and oral communication, possess a customer centric approach, and have advanced computer competency.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience within an Aged Care environment
  • Trade Certificate in Cookery & Food Handlers Certificate III qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Smart Phone and Home Internet are desirable
