HALLS OUTDOOR EDUCATION
Halls Outdoor Education is based in Gembrook, Victoria. We operate three hard top venues. We are seeking a Camp Manager for our Lakewood Park venue which is located near Paynesville.
Key elements of the role include the planning and leadership of programs, liaison with clients, supervision of staff (cleaning, catering, program and maintenance staff), asset management, administration, compliance with regulatory body requirements, seeking opportunities to increase the business and to build capacity of staff to deliver high quality programs.
Applicants should have previous experience as a camp manager or assistant manager, have proven experience supervising and leading staff in a way that motivates, supports and inspires to achieve personal best, be highly motivated with a high level of problem solving skills.
In addition, successful applicants will hold a current wwc, manual drivers licence, boat and bus licence (or willingness to gain these within 6 months), current remote area or wilderness first aid certification and qualifications in two of: canoe/kayak, rock climbing and mountain biking.
